And Away We Go

So tomorrow is the day. I leave bright and early and should be in Philadelphia a little before noon, where everyone that is going over to Benin is meeting up. All together there should be a little under 60 people. We have staging tomorrow night, but that should only take a few hours, and to my knowledge is pretty basic icebreakers/safety information/make sure not to do anything too embarrassing type of stuff before we get into country and really get started with training and stuff.

We leave Philadelphia for Benin on Wednesday morning. it’ll wind up taking two days to get there once you factor in layovers and what not. We’ve got layovers in both New York and Brussels before touching down in Cotonou, Benin at 8 o’clock Thursday night, that’s when all the real fun begins. Until then it’s orientation type stuff, and a whole lot of travelling. I’ll hopefully have more to share when I get there.
